Playgrounds in Santa Teresa

Visiting Santa Teresa with kids? At this point (mid-2026) there is only one playground in Santa Teresa town that is open to the public. It is located in the Wave Boutique Mall. The playground is situated in the back of the mall, right next to TIKILIANO (Lounge and Cocktail Bar). When you get to the shopping mall, go through the little tunnel to what seems like a back part of the stores to locate the playground. Hot tip: one parent can do shopping while the other parent enjoys the drink while kiddos are playing on the playground, or you can order pizza for lunch or dinner at the restaurant next door @prontopiccolaitalia all while the kids are playing! This playground is in a fun shape of a pirate ship and there used to be a large trampoline placed next to it, in case someone needs to burn some extra energy.

(*side note about location: this playground might not be the best choice for middle of the day- there is no shade over it).                                       

There are currently two more public playgrounds getting build in Playa Hermosa vicinty, and they should be accessible to the public soon (2027?). Also, there are two more playgrounds in the town of Montezuma- one right by the main street in the park, and the other one by the beach.
